Our Story

About Us

Who We Are

Anti Crime Bureau  is an Indian ,NGO working to improve the lives of disadvantaged people , their families and communities through an approach that puts people  at the centre of community development. From 2012-13, we have been working with our Team Members to help people and to  access their rights to proper healthcare, basic education, and healthy environment, protection from abuse and exploitation & help them  against  the crime and participation in decisions that affect their lives.

Anti Crime Bureau  was Registered in 2023 by Sh. Sham lal Gupta . The aim is to provide food, accommodation , education and help the community against the crime.

Since that time, our approach to humanitarian assistance has evolved from wartime relief activities, to post-war support, to long-term community development and emergency assistance that helps children &  their families.

How We Work

Working on  years of experience, ACT  believes that  sustainable development of disadvantaged communities can be achieved only if peoples  best interests are at the heart of everything we do and if people themselves actively participate in the process. People  centred community development is the term we use to describe how we aim to do our development work. It is a rights based approach to development where we support communities to develop the structures and skills they need to provide a safe and healthy environment in which children are able to realise their full potential.

Our Approach

With increased focus on people,s  rights, we involve People as active participants in the development process.

In the past our community development programs benefited many people, but we worked largely with the adult community members. Now, with increased focus on middle class people` rights, we involve people as active participants in the development process. As a result of the success of these changes, Anti Crime Bureau  and our members work to create protective and supportive environments in which both girls and boys are safe from violence and exploitation, their rights are protected and each one  has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
